Visitor Information

Opening Hours
Project Rebuild Iraq will be open to trade visitors and business buyers from
4 PM till 10:00 PM.

The Venue
Project Rebuild Iraq 2008 will be held in Amman Exhibitions Park located on the Airport road adjacent to the Dunes Club, Jordan.

The new Amman Exhibitions Park is the brainchild of the IFP Group, one of the biggest exhibition and event organizers in the Middle East.

The Amman Exhibitions Park features over 25,000 square meters of covered exhibition halls, 7,000 square meters of open exhibition area, event halls dedicated to conferences, worshiping place, landscaped areas, and parking lots of about 60,000 square meters that will handle more than 2,000 cars and buses.

The venue also benefits from functional services and facilities for both visitors and exhibitors including floor electricity connections, wireless internet, a business center, registration facilities and 24 hour security and cleaning services. Stand contracting service, as well as rental of furniture and stand extras are available on site.

Visitor Registration
Trade visitors will fill a registration ticket before entering the hall. A pre-registration system has been developed by IFP Group and is designed to facilitate easy registration of international trade visitors, allowing them immediate entry to the exhibition ground.
A comprehensive show catalogue will be available at the registration counters, containing a general floor plan with exhibitor's stand numbers, country and product indexes, complete exhibitor information, and promotional advertisements for exhibitors. Show catalogues are distributed free of charge to trade visitors.

Transportation
Automobile rental companies provide self-driven cars or cars with a chauffer.

Credit Cards
Visitors will find that many credit cards are accepted in larger establishments: Master Card, Visa, American Express, Diners Club.

Currency
Foreign currency can be exchanged at any bank. The monetary unit is the Jordanian DInars (JD), and the average exchange rate is 1US$ =0.7 JD.

Travel Accomodation & Visas

Accommodation
Amman is well provided with hotels of international standard. However, exhibitors are recommended to reserve at an early stage directly or through their travel agent or apply for the organiser’s list of hotels.

Bus Service
A courtesy bus service will operate between the main hotels and the exhibition centre.

Health
Although vaccinations are not mandatory, it is recommended for the exhibitors to be inoculated against typhoid, cholera and tetanus.
